What We Can Embroider

We work with different kinds of ideas like drawings, photos, text, and simple graphics.

You don’t need to prepare your file in a specific way. Phone photos, screenshots, and simple files are all fine. If there is a background, shadows, or visual noise, we remove it. Backgrounds are not stitched.

Photos

When working from photos, the result is an interpretation rather than a photorealistic copy. Details are reduced to capture character and overall expression.

Pet Embroidery

We create embroidered designs based on photographs of pets. Simply send us your image, and we’ll translate it into thread.

Illustrations & Drawings

Embroidery works best with clear shapes and readable forms. Very small details, thin lines, or complex textures may be simplified so the design can be stitched cleanly and remain durable over time. Larger embroidery allows for more detail, while smaller placements require stronger simplification.

Children’s drawings don’t need to be edited before submission. A phone photo is perfectly fine.

We aim to preserve their charm, proportions, and personality while adapting the drawing for embroidery. This may involve smoothing lines or simplifying shapes so the result can be stitched cleanly and worn over time.

Colours and style

Clear, solid colours work best for embroidery. Gradients, shadows, and complex textures are simplified or removed.

Clean linework and readable shapes translate most successfully into thread.

Any Text

Text-based designs work especially well for embroidery. Names, short phrases, dates, or single words translate clearly into thread. Simple lettering and clean shapes tend to produce the best results.

If you have a preferred font or style, you can share it with us in the details section during order. Otherwise, we’ll adapt the text in a way that suits embroidery and remains readable over time.

Size, placement and detail

Centre placement supports embroidery up to 180 × 130 mm (7 × 5 in) and allows for more detail.

Left or right chest placement works best at approximately 6-8 cm tall (2.4–3.1 in) and requires stronger simplification.

Larger embroidery allows for more detail, while smaller placements require clearer shapes and fewer elements.

Final result

Throughout the process, we make technical adjustments with wearability in mind. The final embroidered result may differ slightly from the original image, but the intention is always the same: to keep the idea recognisable, balanced, and true to its original character.

Before submitting a design, it’s important that you have the right to use it whether it’s your own work, licensed artwork, used with permission, or freely usable content.

If a design appears to violate intellectual property rights, we may not be able to produce it.
